FAQ'S

What is your Cancellation, No Show, or Late Policy?

As a courtesy, appointment reminders are sent out 48 hours by text and email. If an appointment is cancelled within 24 hours of your appointment, you will be charged 50% of your service as a cancellation fee. If you "no show" your appointment, you will be charged 100% of your service. Credit cards are required for all appointments booked and will not be charged unless the aforementioned has occurred. This is to protect your time that is set aside especially for you, as well as to protect our time which books up quickly. In turn, we promise to keep appointments on time, give you our full and undivided attention and of course, the best lash work San Ramon has to offer! We offer a 5-minute grace period for late appointments.

What are your check-in procedures?

Please arrive 5-10 minutes early with a mask on and makeup-free eyes. Masks are required the entire time inside the spa. Upon entry, we will take your temperature to ensure your safety as well as others in the spa. Please plan your visit accordingly as length of service times vary.

What are lash extensions?
Eyelash extensions are semipermanent, individual silk fiber lashes that are glued with an FDA approved eyelash adhesive on top of your natural lashes. A trained, licensed, and certified esthetician or cosmetologist applies each lash one-by-one using strict sanitary standards. Click here for more info.
I found kits online. Can’t I just apply extensions myself?

No. For your own safety, we recommend that eyelash extensions be performed by a licensed esthetician/cosmetologist who is trained in lash extension application. An untrained tech is not necessarily knowledgeable about the latest safety procedures and products used in lashing, which can result in poor application, damaged lashes, or harm to your eye.

Does it hurt?

No, there is no pain. In fact, many guests use their appointment time to nap! Eyes are closed as you recline in one of our relaxing massage chairs.

Are extensions safe? What about for contact wearers?

Yes, they are safe and waterproof, and safe for contact lens wearers, too. The only caution is regarding any allergic reaction to the adhesive, which can sometimes cause irritation to the eye area. Please contact us immediately if you suspect an allergic reaction.

What are lashes made of?

Sanitized synthetic hair.

What colors are available?

Black or brown are the most commonly used extensions. If you have blonde hair, you can do either color depending on your preference.  For other colors, please contact us.

How are they removed?

Our technicians will remove them from your natural lashes using an adhesive remover solvent. There’s no damage to your own lashes.

Will I feel them on?

No, they will feel just like your own eyelashes.

Can you apply to bottom lashes?

Yes, some clients request this for a more glamorous look or for photo shoots.

Do I still need mascara?

We recommend that you don’t use mascara, which can cause clumping.

Can I still wear eye liner or shadow?

Yes, however please use extra care when removing your make-up by using an oil free remover and a fiber free component.  Lipstick wands or micro swabs are fiber free, and can be used to gently and carefully remove makeup along the lash line. Do not use any oil-based eye make-up remover, which will weaken the adhesive.

What if a lash becomes dislodged?

Do not pull on the lash. Simply use a spoolie to gently brush your lashes in an upward position.  If any extensions feel uncomfortable please contact us so we can carefully make any necessary adjustments.
